Great small collective of experienced instructors. Usually drove with Evert and at least once with the other two and never had a bad lesson with any of them. My international gf in English and myself in Dutch, both no problem. They care about your progress, listen to what you need and are very nice and relaxed to drive with! Dankjewel Evert!!

*If you’re an expat living in Groningen, I cannot recommend this driving school enough.* I first came to Rijschool Paddepoel in July 2022 after a very bad experience with another big driving school in Groningen. Maiyko was able to quickly identify what I was struggling with, and make a plan to work on those areas (place on the road, speed, looking technique…). We always discussed the things that went well and not so well at the end of each (2h) lesson, and which parts we would work on for the next class. All instructors use evaluation sheets where they track your progress, but most importantly, they show interest in knowing your personal needs. Maiyko is a fun instructor. There was always room for jokes and laughs, but also clear feedback and criticism. I have learned a lot driving with him, so much so that I passed both my interim and driving exams on the 1st try. I’ve had been trying for more than a year to learn how to drive, I had almost given up. After 5 months of driving with Maiyko, I have now my driver’s license, and I can drive confidently and safely. This driving school truly cares about their students and they are incredibly helpful to make sure you pass your exam in the first go! Radjinder was my instructor and he is an exceptionally great teacher. He always stays calm and is very patient with you to make sure you learn well and do not get overwhelmed or frustrated. The other teachers at this school also took the time to have lessons with me to make sure I was prepared for my exam and got to practice driving with different people in the car. I highly recommend this school and I overall had a very enjoyable experience with them. Thanks again Radjinder your the best!!
