The staff are friendly, the environment is pleasant, and they have the best trucks, cars, motorcycles, and scooters. Their teaching methods are excellent and make learning easy and enjoyable.

His patience is truly remarkable - he takes the time to explain everything clearly and calmly, no matter how many times a situation needs to be repeated. This driving school is really good in understanding what needs to be taught to the student. Very flexible and always willing to help an arrangement things on your side. As for my instructor, Erik Leffers, he has been a great teacher to me, all done in English. Definitely recommend him and the school!

I had a great time learning driving at Oosterpoort. Erik Leffers was my instructor for a large part of my period here. Erik is a great teacher. He is not only experienced but also patient. He is especially good for people who are analytical and might get stressed very easily. He is gentle and explains things clearly when there is a quiet period and the feedback might not affect your performance. He knows Groningen quite well and helps you learn the cheat code on how to avoid mistakes and pass the exam. I passed my exam in one try and mostly thanks to Eric. I had to move my exams and classes a few times due to personal issues, but Oosterpoort was very helpful and tried to accommodate me as much as possible. The only improvement would be to make it easier for working and older people to take classes outside of general working hours. Otherwise good school and great instructor. Would especially recommend for international people as most teachers speak English. The practical exam is anyways in dutch, but they will teach you most important words you might need for the exam.
