Great learning process throughout with Hayri. I felt that he didn't teach me to pass the exam, but actually beyond that. Since the beginning he made clear what to expect, not only in the driving but also in the overall process until I can get my license. I have had my native driving license for more than 10 years, so I was shocked when Hayri said I needed 25 lessons and about 8 months until I can get my license. I was of course skeptical, but I was humbled right from the first lesson. After all those months I finally passed my exam in the first go. The lessons are very organized, the amount of guidance and "spoonfeeding" decreases overtime, which gave me the necessary mindset about how the driving should be, and later the confidence to do it on my own. Hayri gave me some pep talks, most of them during the final lessons leading up to the exam. I really appreciate those, it helped me to stay calm and not over-stress about it. All in all, a driving school I would highly recommend!

Highly recommend this driving school! Hayri is a great driving instructor, thorough and clear in his instructions. He is well-prepared with various tools (visual demos on iPad, recordings of the drive, drawings). These helped me to understand my mistakes at a very detailed level and make necessary improvements. Hayri has also a good eye for student's driving behaviour. For example, he noticed whenever I was hesitant/fearful, helped me break down situations and gave me useful tips to overcome this behaviour. I postponed getting my driving licence till my 30s because I had a fear of driving. Hayri helped me gradually build up my comfort zone and increase the level of difficulty. His great sense of humour also helped to take the edge off when I made mistakes. Now I feel comfortable and at ease driving a car. I am very grateful! I also liked and enjoyed driving the car offered by the school. It drives smoothly, is responsive, well-maintained and comfortable. Thank you for great driving lessons!

A big thank you to Hayri for helping me pass my driving test on the first try! He always made sure everything is clear and I was encouraged to ask if I didn’t understand something. Excellent school overall and I highly recommend for beginners.

I had a very nice experience learning with Hayri, he could spot out any major weaknesses in my skills and adapt the lessons to them if need be. He gave tips of not only regular driving behaviour, but also prepered me for the exam until every last detail and also gave advice for how to drive after the exam, wihtout an instructor next to you. All in all, a very pleased with my experience and I would definetly recommend it to anyone looking for a driving school.

As a teacher, Hayri is very stubborn, uninterested, and unwilling to admit when he is wrong. During lessons, he would repeatedly raise his voice at me, justifying himself by claiming he is “very passionate” in the way he explains things. He struggles to adapt to individual learning styles, spending excessive time drawing scenarios/ demonstrating manoeuvres on his ipad, but then you would barely get the chance to practice it yourself to improve. He told me I was difficult to teach and that other driving schools would not speak to me as nicely/treat me as well as him. I felt shamed by him and his unprofessional behaviour was completely unacceptable. He easily lost his patience, and even farted various times during our lessons. And of course he let me know in advance that I had to arrange my own way back (to Wageningen) from the Arnhem CBR exam centre after I failed my practice exam (I later found out that this is not normal, after speaking to other of his students and other driving schools). As a driving school, the system is disorganized and untransparent. Hayri takes no notes during lessons, which make him often forget what he has and hasn’t taught you. Prices are competitive, so you could easily find another school that will offer more lessons (and longer than 50 minutes), as he is “always busy” and reluctantly offers even one lesson per week. At least he was always on time to our lessons and spoke good English. In the first five lessons you won’t even touch the pedals, so don’t be surprised if you don’t pass your practical exam in the standard 30-lesson package. If you need more proof to avoid this driving school, check its pass rate on the CBR website (he will deny such low score). Save yourself the hassle, good luck to whoever has him next!
