Getting your driver’s license abroad as an international can be one of the most nerve wracking experiences but I’m certain that choosing Amir De Koning Driving School is the reason I passed on my first attempt. There were many recommendations for driving schools in Amersfoort, but after listening to colleagues, family, and friends, I decided to go with Amir De Koning and I have absolutely no regrets. From the very first trial lesson to the exam day, I received nothing but clear guidance, reassurance, and excellent instructions and assistance with paperwork and theory in general. I had lessons with several instructors from the school, and all of them consistently gave honest, constructive feedback not only what I could improve but also on what I was doing well. The approach was always professional and respectful, never pushy or judging. My journey took about 11 months, sometimes with just one lesson a week, sometimes more. There was a need for extra lessons not because of the school, but due to my own lack of confidence on the streets. The instructors recognized this and supported me through it, which in the end helped me to avoid the cost and stress of retaking the exam. If you're looking for a school that not only has skilled, international-friendly instructors but also creates a supportive learning environment you won’t go wrong with choosing Amir De Koning. I’m genuinely thankful and highly recommend them!

Amazing school! This was the third driving school I’ve taken lessons with since moving to the Netherlands, and it was by far the best. Mari was incredibly patient and helped me build confidence in my driving. I will definitely recommend this school to other internationals who need driving lessons!!!

Unprofessional and Unreliable – Avoid This Driving School! I had a terrible experience with Amir De Koning driving school. A month ago, they promised to start my driving lessons on the 10th of March. However, when the time came, they completely ignored me. For the past few days, I’ve been trying to contact them, but they are not responding at all. This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. They break their promises, waste people’s time, and ignore their customers instead of providing the service they claim to offer. If you’re looking for a reliable driving school, I strongly recommend avoiding Amir De Koning. Don’t let them waste your time like they did mine!

Scheduled a trial session for my wife and this is her first time to drive a car .. after the trial session he told her that he have no time for her as she will need more time to learn and he is very busy .. according to him 10 sessions should be enough for someone who never drove before which does not make sense at all .. for me it seems he is picking people who already have experience before in driving and this clarifies high success rate for this school at CBR.

Hele fijne ervaring bij deze rijschool. Ze zijn flexibel en vriendelijk - en ik kon snel terecht om te starten met lessen. Instructrice Aisha leert je op een prettige manier om met vertrouwen de weg op te gaan. Ze blijft relaxed en rustig, wat super fijn is als je zelf aan het stressen bent als nieuwe weggebruiker. Door de lessen was ik ook goed voorbereid op het praktijk examen en ben ik in 1x geslaagd.
