I had a great experience with Autorijschool Commandeurs. Anil was my main instructor and he prepared me very well, not only for passing the exam but also for safe driving in the future. His guidance was clear, patient, and practical, which gave me the confidence I needed on the road. I highly recommend this driving school!

Driving here is a whole different challenge for this American. 30 years of only sharing the road with cars did not prepare me for the Dutch combo of bikes, pedestrians, and scooters everywhere. Thanks to a wonderfully kind (but very strict) instructor, I passed in one try. The school has English speaking instructors with good proficiency.

I switched to Autorijschool de Commandeurs after failing my driving test a few times. After taking some lessons with Mira and Anil, I quickly realized how much I needed to improve. I had wasted a lot of time and money with my previous driving school, but Mira and Anil really helped me focus on my weak spots and get ready for the exam. Their honest feedback, flexibility with scheduling, and special lessons made all the difference, and I was finally able to pass my practical exam. Mira and Anil are very knowledgeable and know exactly what it takes to drive well and pass the test. They are very professional and one of the best driving schools in North Holland. Highly Recommended! I just passed my driving test on the first attempt, and I’m incredibly grateful for the excellent training I received from this driving school! My main instructor, Anil, and another instructor, Mira, were both very calm and patient. They encouraged me when I drove well and, when I made mistakes, they not only pointed them out but also explained how to correct them. They consistently reminded me of common mistakes and things that are easy to forget, all without any criticism or pressure. This driving school is truly dedicated and responsible towards every student. In contrast, my first driving school barely taught me any practical driving techniques—they simply had me drive around without structured lessons. Even after many lessons, I didn’t see much progress. They didn’t properly teach me how to change lanes on the highway, and I only learned part of the special maneuvers. Despite knowing that I wasn’t fully prepared, they still pushed me to take the test. Later, I found this school through the CBR website, where I saw its high pass rate. I decided to give it a try, and it did not disappoint! I gained solid driving skills and successfully passed my test on the first attempt. I highly recommend this driving school to anyone who wants professional instruction and a great chance of passing!

Today I passed my practice exam (automatic, english) and I will admit it was a good experience. The instructor was always clear, listened good to my questions and was patient with the whole learning experience. It was always flexible with the hours of the lessons and never late. They do free test lessons. I highly recommend to give them a try! You won't regret it!
