Michèl is an excellent teacher. He knows how to meet you at your levels with the utmost respect which in turn creates a calm and comfortable atmosphere. I believe his people/social skills to be a major contributor in improving confidence and eliminating self-doubt. He is direct in his communication in a very helpful and pleasant way, straight forward with no room for confusion. Patience and punctuality are also qualities that you can expect from him. It is a great driving school!! Michel is a very patient and detailed teacher, he will walk you through every aspect you need to learn and make sure that you get it right (to the exam level). Since he used to be an English teacher, it is also convenient for expats in Emmen to follow his lessons, because he speaks excellent English and sometimes he throws some English jokes so the whole driving lesson becomes relaxing and even more fun! Financially, you can also pay in terms, the price is quite reasonable. I passed in one go, so I definitely recommend this driving school👍

Michèl (Mitch) is an excellent driving instructor. He creates a relaxed atmosphere to help calm the nerves. He is also great with English which was important for us as foreigners. The app that is used to plan lessons, keep track of progress and even do theory, is super easy to use and made the whole process smooth. I had been driving for 10 years with my South African driver’s license, and passed the exam for a Dutch license after 9 lessons with Supheert Rijopleidingen. Highly recommend!

Had such a great experience with Supheert Rijopleidingen! Mitch made sure I was confident going into the exam and he helped me to pass first time. As an expat, who has a driving license in South Africa, he helped me to safely make sure I understood and complied with rules here in the Netherlands. When I made mistakes, Mitch made sure they were turned into opportunities to learn which is an excellent teaching style. He also used a very nice app to plan and arrange payments for lessons. He is very well organised and never late for a lesson. Would recommend this driving school to others in Emmen 🙂👍🏼

My wife and I went with Mitch on recommendation of a friend who had also moved from South Africa, and we certainly were not disappointed! Mitch is a very knowledgeable and observant instructor, and I enjoyed his instruction style. His English is excellent and he has experience with helping expats, who have already been driving, to learn the Dutch traffic laws. He will tailor lessons according to your weaknesses & bad habits, but does so in a kind way. After 6 lessons with Mitch, I felt comfortable for the exam, and passed first time. Planning lessons and the exam were also easy and straightforward, and Mitch was always well-organized and punctual. I'd definitely recommend him as a fully-qualified driving instructor for any expats in the Emmen area.
