Just an update after my last review : Changing this instructor was the best thing I did, with the help of my new instructor of a different agency, I passed my driving exam the first time, and I drive with confidence. Moral of the story : Do NOT put up with this mean instructor, who is super full of himself. There are so many better ones out there. Especially non-Dutch speaking people, don't even consider this instructor, run away. I would give zero stars if I could. I quit after just four lessons. The instructor does not know how to communicate with people, and how to create an encouraging learning atmosphere. He was often condescending and demeaning. He gave no consideration to the fact that I come from abroad and have to get used to the rules here. There was also an English language barrier. If the lessons are to be taken in English, it’s a difficult feat. I got yelled at often just in four lessons, and it took all the liking of driving away from me. Constant negative comments and yelling didn’t help boost my confidence at all. I found a new school now, and I am happy with the instructor. I enjoy driving again and look forward to the lessons.

I passed my driving license 1 year ago. I have had almost or more 70 lessons with Evo, now I think many of lessons were lost because of really aggressive behaviour of the teacher. I was super stressed because I decided to do my license in my 30s, but the atmosphere during the lessons was so terrible that sometimes I wanted to stop the car and go home. We are all students, woman, older, younger, not Turkish, and all should be treated the same. I even have some flashbacks when driving, of situations from the course and my instructor shouting at me. I appreciate the knowledge and me passing the exam at the end, but come on… try to understand people’s mistakes.

Awesome school :) I needed some classes to refresh my driving skills after years without driving and I could easily book lessons with Mehmet. He helped me to relax and trust myself in few classes and as soon as he saw I could do it by myself he kindly told me (instead of forcing classes-money). His calm and patience was really useful and I also had fun during the lessons. So definitely recommended! Thanks Mehmet!

I succeeded in my driving exam at the first attempt with Autorijschool E.V.O. Thanks to Mehmet Arkun! He is a very good driving instructor with patience and flexibility. The lectures are very instructive and he puts a lot of effort to make sure that you are ready for your practical exam. Recommended!

Very thoughtful instructor with an effective teaching style. My exam felt like one of the lessons and he has a great understanding of what you need to work on. I appreciate all the straightforward feedbacks. Definitely recommended!
