I highly recommend Michael as a driving instructor for anyone who wants to go for manual lessons, whether in Dutch or English. It’s much easier to learn with him since he is patience and happy to explain things in details when you need to. It’s also the first time I feel comfortable to ask or request to have the lessons in certain way, as he is willing to do so, within reasons. One of the things I appreciate the most is with Michael, he makes sure you are prepared to drive on your own, and not just to pass an exam. I learnt how to fill the gas tank, how to navigate in a parking spot, etc. for the first time. Not sure I would be able to experience the same if I had had a different teacher.

I passed my driving exam on the second time with the help of Michael. With two kids at home, a full time job and sometimes little flexibility, Michael helped me by being flexible and having a very easy booking system to work with. Michael is calm and very good in explaining. I really got the feeling that he likes what he does and wants you to pass the exam with good marks. I really enjoyed our conversations in the car, we did have a nice laugh many times. I strongly recommend Michael as your driving instructor!

I previously had a really bad experience with a different driving school and lost my confidence in driving. Then I found Rijshool Thomas and decided to give it a try even though, I still had some fears from the past. Now, I am super happy that I tried it! Micheal was a very good instructor who knows your way of learning, keeps a positive approach and gives you constructive feedback instead of getting angry. Thanks to him, I could stay calm and had a fun driving experience that helped me build my confidence. That's what I needed to learn and pass my exam. If you only speak English and want to have your own driver's license in The Netherlands, you must come to Michael. He will make sure you will be confidence enough to drive and the whole experience is full of fun. I am so happy that I can pass the exam at the very first time. Thanks Michael for all your support!

Michael was a great instructor as he helped me adapt from the American way to the Dutch way of driving. He gives clear instructions and breaks down driving tasks into steps that can be followed. I was able to pass on the first try.
