Rijschool The Graduate

My overall experience with The Graduate driving school was positive, and I’m very happy that I successfully passed my exam. It took me 30 lessons and three exam attempts. I started with Mariam for most of my lessons. In general, the experience was good, but I realized that her teaching approach was simply not the right fit for me personally. She usually gave short answers to my questions, and when I made a mistake, it was pointed out, but without going into detail or showing how I should handle similar situations properly in the future. For my final lessons, I switched to Youssra, and that made a huge difference. She is an amazing instructor — patient, calm, and very friendly. She explained everything clearly, noticed when I was not confident, and showed me exactly how to improve. She encouraged repeating actions multiple times until I fully understood and felt comfortable. This teaching approach helped me regain my confidence. Thanks to Youssra’s support, I passed the exam right away. I’m very grateful for her guidance and professionalism. Recommend especially instructor Youssra!

I took a few lessons to freshen up my skills as a driver with a license but little experience and some anxiety on the road, especially Dutch roads. Youssra was my instructor, she was calm, patient, kind and knowledgeable. She put me at ease right away and really helped me build my confidence through encouragement and through sharing tips and tricks. I could not have asked for a better experience, we focused on all the areas I lacked confidence in and Youssra gave me great tips and remained a calming and pleasant presence the whole way. I would 100% recommend for anyone in a similar situation to mine!

I had a great experience with Graduate. My instructor, Youssra, was absolutely amazing! She always made me feel comfortable and safe in our lessons, and really went the extra mile to ensure I knew everything I needed. The only bad part about getting my license is that now I can’t do more lessons with her. Her teaching methods were perfect for me; giving constructive feedback, highlighting my strengths and encouraging me to improve on my weaknesses, and going out of her way to accommodate for my preferences and calm my nerves. 10/10 would recommend. Rijschool Graduates Sloterdijk Rating: –5 stars (if that were possible) I had lessons and my driving test with this school, specifically with instructor Sadia, and it was a very bad experience. The instructor was consistently rude, aggressive, and always in a confrontational mood. Instead of teaching calmly and professionally, she constantly argued and made lessons stressful. There was no polite or supportive guidance at all, which completely destroyed my confidence. Because of this experience, I failed my driving test. After that, I was told I would need to pay €2,000 more and then I would be “trained to pass the test easily.” Big SCAM. This felt completely unfair and unprofessional. I decided not to continue with this school. I switched to another driving school, took only four lessons, and passed my driving test without any problems. That clearly shows the issue was not me. This school was a nightmare for me. If anyone is reading this review, I strongly advise you to avoid Rijschool Graduates Sloterdijk, and especially avoid instructor Sadia, as she can ruin your day and your learning experience. My honest rating: minus 5 stars.
