5 stars are google review maximum, but not my review to Selwin! Where do I even begin? After failing my practical test four previous times, I was ready to give up. Then I found Selwin, and I passed on my very first attempt with him! I truly thank him! Selwin is an exceptional instructor. He is extremely punctual, knowledgeable, and professional. He works in a very structured, step-by-step manner, and knows Utrecht like the back of his hand. He could quickly identify your weaknesses and provides a hyper-focused course. Be warned: Selwin is strict and demanding, but this is because he genuinely cares for your time, money, and efforts. He pushes you to be the best driver you can be. Learning to drive was not easy for me, and without his constant encouragement, I might have given up again. How can you not put in the effort when you know your instructor never gives up on you and supports you all the way? If you need a top-tier coach who demands your best, Selwin is the instructor you need. Highly recommend!

Selwin is an exceptional teacher. He is friendly and also meticulous in how he conducts each of his driving lesson. He helped develop good habits important for driving. I come with limited driving experience in Indian conditions, he completely made me unlearn the bad habits and got the good habits into my system. Because of his training, I finished my TTT on my first attempt and today I successfully passed my driving test on first attempt too. I highly recommend Selwin for driving lessons. Rijschool Selwindra is by far the best driving school in Utrecht and trust me I have tried a few. Being an expat from India and having driven back home for considerable amount of years, I inculcated habits and behaviors which would not be acceptable at all in Netherlands. Changing old habits was hard. My previous driving schools with which I tried 3 times didn’t took into account this important factor and top of it taught many wrong things. After 3 times, my confidence was also very low. So, I wanted a school and more important a teacher who understands this complexity and guide me properly. Selwindra was the answer to all of this!! In my first trial lesson, Selwindra took in cognizance of my driving pattern and subsequently made a very detailed plan. Every lesson we took had a goal in mind, it started with explanation of goal, the exercise and then end of the lesson the evaluation. The good, the bad and Ugly about the exercise was discussed in detail and improvement plans were made. What I also loved was the discipline that was created, every week, unlike the other driving schools where I was driving randomly at random times. He is strict, but that is exactly what is needed, after all it is a matter of life & death. Selwindra also shared the study materials on the weaknesses you have so that you could improve and study at home. This makes a difference. I would highly recommend Selwindra for anyone, be it a beginner or have some experience before driving. He really cares about you getting your license and you learning the right things. This is rare!! I would regard getting my license as one of key achievements of my life and being a student of Selwindra was indeed a pleasure. Thanks once again Selwindra, keep on shinning !
