Into Traffic

I had an excellent experience learning to drive at this school. Thanks to their guidance, I was able to get my license and become a more confident, skilled driver. My instructor, Mark, was exceptional—he was patient, attentive to areas where I could improve, and highly knowledgeable about driving in the Netherlands. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get their driver’s license here!

I had refresher lessons in English with John and had a great experience. As I already knew how to drive before, he adjusted the lessons to what I needed and helped me get confident driving in the city and on the highway. I appreciated that I could tailor the lessons to my needs.

I took driving lessons with Into Traffic (mostly with Luc, one lesson with Jan Peter) to earn my Dutch license. I've been a licensed driver in the US for 10 years, but was not able to exchange my license in time for a Dutch one. Though likely not the case for every American living here, I believe these lessons were necessary for me to drive safely here in Europe. I started lessons with almost no experience driving manual and very little confidence, and passed the practical exam for manual in one attempt after about 6 months of lessons. Luc's instruction helped me to drive with confidence and continue improving even after the lessons were over. Beyond that, he created a judgement-free environment that made it possible to connect driving skills to other areas of life. My cycling improved. My assessment of risk and risk mediation improved. These things are very personal, and they feel like big victories. I feel so grateful that Into Traffic exists with the goal of creating a relaxed atmosphere to take driving lessons--it's not just coaching for driving, it's coaching for life. For other expats reading this: even if you don't *have* to take driving lessons, the peace of mind from knowing the rules very clearly and being able to apply them effectively makes it 100% worth it. Especially if you choose Into Traffic, where the emphasis on creating a relaxed environment means you get to focus on learning without your nervous system interfering with skill acquisition. It's important in the classroom, but even more so on the road.

I find this driving academy in Arnhem very good. My driving instructor Christiaan was very professional, patient and thanks to him I also improved my confidence in the high way. I would recommend this academy to anyone willing to learn how to drive or improve their driving skills.

I came across IntoTraffic school while browsing for an English speaking instructor in Ede. Luckily, this school popped up in Google search. Before IntoTraffic, I already had lessons with other schools for about 45 hrs in total but with no luck of passing at all. I felt like I missed a proper guidance and ideal instructions for driving with confidence. But after starting lessons with Berry from IntoTraffic, my understanding and grip of driving confidence boosted up quite quick! I really struggled a lot before and almost gave up because of failing few times earlier via other schools. But then Berry, my instructor, made it look so easy and taught me actual protocols, tips and tricks which led me to pass the exam in one go after about 15 hours of lesson (with bit of luck too). He made me find my own pace with his valuable advice and built the confidence in me that I was missing all along. On top of it, the whole administration process with Jeroen went so smoothly, with excellent communication style. I'm more than glad that I could be one of their students. To all the potential students, I can say only you will not regret choosing this school for your driver's license goal. :)
